A simple way of giving to UK registered charities
The Pennies Foundation created Pennies to make giving small amounts, micro-donations, easy, quick and secure. It’s a new way of raising money which is affordable for the public and delivers new money to charities at a time when demand for what they do is high and funds are tight.
We are passionate about including as many people as possible: any cardholder in the UK can be a part of this. Pennies already support 27 charities and this number will grow as more retailers join in. It is available to any retailer who wants to join in; it doesn’t matter if they operate online, on the high street or both.
Pennies is currently live with eight retailers. We’re working to implement it with a number of others and are keen to make it available widely. We make sure it runs smoothly and securely, ensure that all of the money raised gets to where it should be, and then tell everyone involved the good that’s been done as a result.
