Helping change young lives
The Prince’s Trust is the UK’s leading youth charity, helping to change young lives. They give practical and financial support to disadvantaged 14-30 years olds, and help them to develop skills such as confidence and motivation. The Prince’s Trust works with young people who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.
Last year, they helped 42,000 young people and support 100 more each working day. Since 1976, they have helped over 600,000 young people turn their lives around, with more than three in four of the young people who have been helped moving into work, training or education. At whatever stage of their lives young people reach out for help, The Prince’s Trust has a programme specifically designed to give them much needed support to gain the skills and confidence they need.
The Prince’s Trust needs to raise almost a million pounds a week to continue to help young lives across the UK create a brighter future. With the support of the public they can help young people live the life they deserve, rather than the one they’ve ended up with.
The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity, incorporated by Royal Charter, in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SCO41198).
