The first hotel brand to go live with Pennies
Travelodge, the UK’s fastest growing budget hotel chain, is the first hotel brand to partner up with Pennies.
When you purchase a hotel room at www.travelodge.co.uk, you now have the opportunity to round-up your booking to the nearest pound – and donate the change to Pennies.
All funds raised via Pennies will be donated to Travelodge’s two nominated charities – Cancer Research UK and KidsOut.
For the first time, Travelodge customers will be able to help make a difference to someone’s life through donating their spare pennies online – helping Cancer Research UK to fund their life-saving research and assist KidsOut to provide fun and happiness for disadvantaged children across the UK.
In 2011, Travelodge is aiming to raise ÂŁ200,000 for their two charities with the help of Pennies and through the 1,000 fundraising events its employees will be taking part in throughout the year.
