The foundation’s elected board of trustees
The Pennies Foundation is governed by a board of trustees who are all volunteers. Our trustees are responsible for the overall direction and development of the foundation and Pennies through good governance and clear strategic planning, ensuring that we are well run and delivering our charitable objectives.
The board of trustees delegates the day-to-day management to the Chief Executive, Alison Hutchinson.
The members of the board of trustees are elected at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and, subject to re-election or early retirement, serve for three years. We look for a balanced and diverse board of trustees with the right skills and experience to help us put Pennies into practice.
